When It Rains - It Stores
At 60 gallons, this model is one of the largest on the market. This heavy duty receptacle will last for years, due to its rigid, 3/16" thick walls. Each inidividual unit comes complete with threaded spigot (for easy hose attachement), overflow fitting, drain plug, screw-on cover, and complete instructions. A second spigot can be positioned in the drain plug opening if the barrel is slightly elevated on a platform or blocks. The Great American ships ready to be linked to second or third barrel - without the need for a special linking kit (all that is needed is standard, 3/4" hose). Made in the USA from clean, recycled food grade barrels. Available colors:

So you can better plan your staging area for your new rain water collection system, here is a close-up of one of the lids. The number of 8-9 mm holes can vary from 10-14, depending on the manufacturing cycle. Roof debris larger than that will not enter the barrel.
